About

Arcana Sky

A calm, modern home for tarot — free readings that feel like handling a real deck, and card meanings written to actually be read.

Why we built it

Most tarot sites are either cluttered with noise or so vague they say nothing at all. We wanted the opposite: a quiet, fast, beautiful place where you can shuffle a deck, turn a card, and read something specific enough to be useful. No account, no upsell, no countdown timers.

How the readings work

Every reading shuffles a complete 78-card Rider-Waite-Smith deck. Cards are drawn without repetition within a spread, and each one falls upright or reversed at random — roughly one in three lands reversed, much as it would from a hand-shuffled deck. Nothing is pre-selected, nothing is weighted, and no reading is stored against your name.

The card meanings

All 78 cards in our card library carry original interpretations for both orientations, covering general meaning, love and relationships, career and money, and health and wellbeing. They are grounded in the traditional symbolism Pamela Colman Smith drew into the 1909 deck, written in plain contemporary English.

The artwork

We use the original 1909 Rider-Waite-Smith illustrations by Pamela Colman Smith, published by William Rider & Son. This artwork is in the public domain, and it remains the most widely read visual language in tarot.

An honest note

Arcana Sky is for entertainment and personal reflection. Tarot is a wonderful thinking tool and a poor substitute for a doctor, a lawyer, an accountant or a therapist. Please read our disclaimer before making decisions that matter.
