How we test

We shuffle and read with every deck for at least 2 weeks before writing about it, using our own 3 card and Celtic Cross spreads.

We judge how clearly each card reads, how the stock handles a riffle shuffle, how useful the guidebook is and whether the price is fair.

No brand pays for a place on this page. If a deck stops being good value, we take it off.
